STORYBOARD
Naomi's story
Naomi just completed booking her flight and accommodation for her trip to Rome in October.
Now she wants to start shopping for clothes in order to take a perfect picture in Rome.
However, she has no idea what the average weather and temperature will be like in Rome in October.
She googles and finds some temperature information, but it doesn’t really help her to decide what clothes to buy and bring.
She wishes she could check daily images of people who’ve visited the same place in similar season.
PAIN POINT & POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Pain Point
Naomi finds it hard to know the weather of the place she’ll be traveling in the future and weather websites don’t provide a good sense of what kind of clothes are suitable at that location
What if we…
Add a ‘What to wear’ feature on the Airbnb app and provide key weather information and daily-look images of the travel destinations
DESIGN PROCESS
Competitor Analysis
& Brainstorming
Audited other travel & weather websites or mobile apps and ideated on new features to solve our users’ needs
Wireframes
& Prototyping
Created wireframes and clickable prototypes to demonstrate the end-to-end experience
Usability Testing
& Iterations
Conducted usability testing with several users and made multiple iterations based on feedback
